レッスン外の機会です！英語のディスカッション機会を是非ご活用ください。

前回の第3回は、ディスカッションのトピックを前もって告知してから参加していただく流れにしました。そのほうがイメージもわきやすく、自分なりの考えをもって臨めるので、今後もこの流れでまいります。

形式はこれまでと変わりません。アイディアをどんどん広げていく「クリエイティブ・ディスカッション」と、批判的に議論しグループでなんらかの結論を出す「クリティカル・ディスカッション」をそれぞれ40分間いたします。

1. 今回、クリエイティブ・ディスカッションでは、クーリエ・ジャポンでも力を入れている「SDGs」（持続可能な開発目標）についてアイディアを出し合います。関連記事：https://courrier.jp/sdgs/

問いは以下のとおりです。

Recently, companies and the general public have been paying more attention to SDGs. This is a positive trend but how can we make the actions of companies and individuals something beyond just a temporary initiative/fad?（最近、日本でもSDGsが注目されています。前向きな流れですが、どうしたら企業や個人のアクションを、一時的な取り組み・流行を超えたものにできるでしょうか？）


2. クリティカル・ディスカッションでは、「遺伝子編集」について批判的に議論し、グループで提言をまとめてもらいます。

SparkDojo will collaborate with COURRiER Japon again to co-host our 4th DEEP LOUNGE event.

This time it will be on May 15 (Wed.). This will be an all-English event to discuss topics while enjoying organic food and drinks at the venue, ORGANIC TABLE BY LAPAZ. The objective is to hold deep, meaningful discussions about diverse, multidisciplinary topics, from global current affairs, social issues, arts and design, technology and more. This will be a monthly event which is open to the public, with discounts for SparkDojo trainees and COURRiER Japon subscribers.
